Well, two years have past since my first and only post. I am finishing up with school requirements and my children are away for the time being--and I miss my girlies. They are all on epic adventures while I complete my clinicals.
Today was an amazing day! I got to watch 3 surgeries! I saw a total hip arthroplasty using a tradtional anterolateral approach, a MIS 2 incision approach total hip arthroplasty, and a PIS total knee! Cutting edge I think so!
My girls are all far far away and I miss them.
More tomorrow,
G'nite.

six doctors is too many
One week; six physicians... that has to be a record. The good news is no one is gravely ill, I just have to juggle medicine schedules for three dogs and two of my three kids. All I want is some normalcy, and I fear that is impossible. I suppose there is a silver lining to all this, when school starts everyone WILL be well. I insist! New ventures, like my going back to school are to be met with a modicum of anticipation and preparedness, not a basket-case free-for-all like we are experiencing now. I'm not kidding, I fully expect my household to work this shit out by August 24! THE END.
